Tanked

Our friends over at Åben Kødbyen invited us out to do quiz for the third night of THE GAUNTLET - the three-day quiz festival / goodbye tour as QC goes on break for a while in a strange land with bizarre customs. From the DJ deck between two tanks we pretended we were hosting a industrial rave, just with candles and questions about dead people.

15 teams participated in last night’s quiz, many of whom knew their Unforgivable Curses, showed off their African geography, and sampled only the finest caviars from the most endangered fish. No big William Hung fans, though - which is probably for the best.

Viqueens, two-time GAUNTLET participants were dominant from round 3 forward, getting them their choice of fine fermentables from behind the bar. Three-time GAUNTLET participants (in one form or another) Østerbros snagged a pack of cans in second, proving that no quiz is safe from roving bands of fact-knowers. Good sports Pilsner snagged a round of shots of both Danish Mystery Liquid and Italian Enigma Condensate, proving that persistence is ten tenths of the law.
